A freelance photographer since 1998, Fabrizio received a B.F.A. in Photography from Central Michigan University and was one of a select group of young photographers chosen to participate in an Advanced Workshop in Photojournalism at the International Center for Photography in New York in 2000. Based in Detroit, Michigan, today his clients include New York Times, Newsweek, Time, Rolling Stone, the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Der Speigel, XXL, Crain’s, People, Financial Times, USA Today, the Independent of London, Le Monde, the Toronto Star, Grazia Magazine UK, the Guardian UK, Best Magazine UK, the International Herald Tribune, and many others. His proficiencies include still photography, video for news and entertainment, and studio photography. Many of his series have been featured on international websites and slide shows such as The New York Times and WPN. Fabrizio is passionate about shooting everything, from breaking events to corporate portraits to music video. “I enjoy making Editors happy,” he remarks, “I like to zig when they [other photographers] zag.”
Though fully mobile, and commonly shooting on location Fabrizio owns/runs a 2400 sq foot studio in metro Detroit featuring lighting - still and hd video equipment.
